THE LODGE
The two-level lodge building is the "original" Kashaga Lodge, the construction of which was commissioned by Hazel Dell-Cox in 1933. In the era of the steam engine, this property was the pride of Haliburton village's new-found tourism industry, as urban dwellers from the south began to discover the area's bountiful recreational activities.
a 3-pc or 4-pc bath and a comfortably furnished living room with cable TV and a walkout to a deck or balcony. Each unit has its own propane barbecue and lawn chairs with a splendid view overlooking Lake Kashagawigamog. The motel room has a small fridge and 4-pc bath with jacuzzi tub, and, like the suites, also has a walkout to huge deck with a stunning view over the lake. The various units are also layed out in such a way that some units can easily be combined to create a single double-sized suite to accommodate a larger group. The fully carpeted 3 - bedroom suite is created by combining the newly renovated 2-bedroom suite with the adjoining motel room. Smoking is allowed only on this unit's 8' x 28' balcony which is accessed by the two 6 ft walkouts.
Of course accommodation in the lodge includes use of the canoes and paddleboats and all the recreation facilities on the property, not to mention access to the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, Ontario's premiere destination for outdoor recreationalists. 2 Bedroom Cottage 1 Bedroom Cottages 6 Bedroom Lakeside House |
